In the mid-90's, Cory discovered Seattle-style hot dogs in his hometown of Kirkland, Washington. His fascination led him to a favorite vendor in downtown Seattle on 5th and Union Street, sparking a craving that would never fade.

After relocating to Missouri for college, Cory's passion for Seattle-style hot dogs persisted. Missing the vibrant food cart scene from back home, he promised to bring a taste of Seattle to Springfield.

In 2001, he did just that, launching seattle-style hot dog cart at a local college bar called Jordan Creek. The response was immediate – Springfield loved the Seattle-style flair. 

From that modest cart emerged a local sensation. Cory's journey from the Pacific Northwest to the heart of Missouri is a testament to the power of a simple idea and a passion for flavor.
